Attractive, quiet, lightweight and expensive! But most people seem to love it, so congratulations, Dyson!
I am sure if you have been searching for a new hair dryer recently, you would have come across the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer. It is the ‘IN’ hairdryer that everyone is talking about. Dyson, best known for their vacuum cleaners, have set out to revolutionise the hair dryer market with the Supersonic by moving the motor in to the handle, making a home blow dry a more comfortable experience for the user. It’s appearance is stylish, unique and certainly makes it stand out. Available in a few different colours including iron/fuschia and white / silver, it looks really cool. We have been fortunate enough to have a number of reviewers try it out.
This is most definitely a luxury buy and most of our reviewers received the hair dryer as a gift. Lucky them!! They have all been really impressed with it, loving the look and feel of the dryer, the fact that it is easy to use and extremely light weight. It dries the hair quickly without causing excess heat damage and our curly haired friends have seen a reduction in frizz and are loving their new shiny and smooth hair. The other major advantage of this hair dryer over others is that it is much quieter. Particularly good for early risers who don’t want to wake the rest of the house. The magnetic attachments that come with this hair dryer are fantastic and include a diffuser ; a styling concentrator and a smoothing nozzle which are so easy to attach and make the hair dryer suitable for all types of hair and styles. The only negative feedback we have received is the price, at £299.99, you’ll be hard pushed to find a more expensive hair dryer. You can even buy a limited edition red version for £329.99, if you really wish to splash out.
We would most definitely recommend this product, if you can stomach the cost. It is extortionate and at this stage we have not heard from anyone who has had their Dyson Supersonic for more than a year, so it is difficult to know how long it will last. But it looks pretty robust, works a dream and most people seem to love it. Congratulations, Dyson! If you like to have the latest technology, it’s definitely one to go for.
