Final Thoughts

The smaller 42mm Big Hair styler is a great option for people with fringes, shorter hair or long layered hair. A good price but just needs a little patience to get use to it.

Fed up with my mid length curly hair going frizzy, I decided to opt for this hair dryer / styler after searching through google and speaking to a friend.  At £39.99 from Boots, it seemed pretty reasonable and I am really pleased I bought it.  I am a working Mum and don’t really have the time to be juggling a brush and hair dryer to create the ‘blow dry’ look in the mornings so this ‘2 in 1’ option is perfect.  It smooths my hair well and gets rid of the frizz.  The only thing I have found is that it takes a bit of getting used to, as at first I did get my hair tangled around the brush.  I have noticed that you can buy a bigger 50mm brush (see Babyliss Big Hair 50mm Styler review) and I think this may be a better option if you have long or thick hair but this one works for me and is very easy to use.

I would definitely recommend this brush if you are wanting a smooth finish or gentle curls and have shoulder length hair like me.  I seldom buy a new hair dryer but bought this when my old one conked out after 5 years and hope it will last as long.
